Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP)
NTIA offers $4.7 billion in BTOP grants to encourage broadband infrastructure deployment in unserved and underserved areas enhanced broadband capacity at public computer centers sustainable adoption of broadband service. BTOP-supported broadband development will help encourage job creation and stimulate long-term economic growth and opportunity.

In addition to the existing Community Connect broadband grant program, RUS now offers $2.5 billion in ARRA Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP) grants, direct loans and loan grant combinations, designed to provide economic stimulus through implemention of broadband in unserved and underserved communities.
